1. What is a typical footbath detox session?

While immersing your feet in the water, positive and negative ions are emitted by the BBS system. This reenergizes the body and red blood cells. This type of system is described as a Detoxification machine because the response of a rebalanced body is to excrete any excess toxins via the kidneys, liver, bowels and skin. This process not only occurs DURING a detox footbath session, but also AFTER a treatment. The footbath triggers the body’s lymphatic system and continues to detoxify for the next 24 to 48 hours. The entire process takes approximately 30-40 minutes for adults and is completely safe to use.

Studies show that an overall balancing effect occurs coupled with a significant increase in the number of negative ions. Ions are atoms, or molecules, that have lost or gained electrons [Free radicals are unpaired electrons]. If the atoms or molecules lose electrons, they become positively charged ions. If they gain electrons, they become negatively charged ions. The ionic technique of cleansing through feet provides a full-body purge of all vital organs, resulting in reduced menopause symptoms, menstrual cramps, sexual health problems, skin problems, acne, sleep problems, restlessness, stress, toothaches, wrinkles, aches and pains and yeast infections. 4. How long does the water module last?

Each BBS water modules last between 90-120 sessions. However, longevity of the water module depends on the type of water source used for the footbath. For maximum durability, the water modules are made from medical materials and do not contain lead or copper.

5. How often can you use the detox footbath system on yourself?

We recommend that users only conduct a Detox session every 48 to 72 hours. This resting and repair period gives the user’s body a chance to recover and rejuvenate from the detox session. It is important to note that the body continues to detox during the 48-72 hour detox period following a footbath session. Using the system too much may cause fatigue and is not recommended if one is trying to achieve maximum results. Give your body a break! It needs some time to assimilate this boost of energy to the cellular system - the source of ALL energy

6. Can people with Diabetes use the system?

Yes, but it is recommend that users with diabetes begin their detox protocol by using the system at a reduced power rate coupled with a decrease in session length. 10-minute duration is recommended for the first session. If the user feels rejuvenated, then they can slowly begin to increase the time and rate over a period of 30-45 days. Can women whom are pregnant, those with a heart pacemaker, an organ transplant or epilepsy use the system? No, the BBS detox footbath systems are not recommended for pregnant woman, anyone with a heart pacemaker, an organ transplant or epilepsy.

7. Why is it beneficial to use a foot massager before and after your Detox session?

A foot massager helps to further stimulate the lymphatic system and circulation. Further, the massager helps to relax the user so that they may better absorb the energy of the Detox session.

8. Why use a mineral supplement after your Detox session?

Currently, there is not a system on the market that can distinguish between "good" and "bad" minerals when the body is experiencing detoxification. Therefore, it is only natural for users to lose “good” minerals during a session. 10. Why do I feel tired after a footbath session? Why did I experience a boost of energy after a footbath
session?

For those who might feel tired, it is recommended to use the BBS unit in the evening before rest. The name Sea-Onic™ was derived from the power that the sea possesses in our overall health, including the detoxification process. Our understanding of the complex chemistry involved in the Sea-Onic™ footbath has progressed to the point of confidence that there are tiny water bubbles, containing ions, throughout the footbath. These bubbles are moving in the footbath, similar to the current of the ocean. 13. What exactly is the Sea-Onic™ Solution and why do I need to use it with my footbath?

The Sea-Onic™ Concentrate is an alkaline liquid mineral solution. This solution is a footbath water additive that was developed to replace sea salt. The Sea-Onic™ Concentrate has a similar composition to the lymph of a healthy individual, therefore providing all of the trace minerals needed by the body. It has been processed with the exclusive Volixer™ technology that alters the molecular structure of the water, thus reducing the cluster size. This hastens the permeability of the footbath water into the lymph while allowing for enhanced detoxification results. The solution also allows for better conductivity of the array while also protecting it for greater longevity. Approximately 10 footbaths can be taken per ounce of solution.

14. Why the new design for the Sea-Onic™ Footbath?

As a safety precaution, it is important to note that by positioning the cord completely outside the footbath, we make sure that no cord material can enter the footbath that could result in contamination. 15. Why is the Sea-Onic™ Footbath safer than competitor products?

The water in the bath and the detailed configuration of the array plates ensures that the actual electrical current only flows between the narrowly spaced plates and serves to produce these tiny water bubbles that then safely penetrate the skin of the feet. The Sea-Onic™ footbath is safe for the body because there is no actual current injected into the body as with other modalities.

16. Why is it a good idea to disinfect the Sea-Onic™ array after each bath?

The Sea-Onic™ array has been designed purposely to make sure that only the metal comes in contact with the bath water during the footbath. Further, the metal surfaces that come in contact with the water during the footbath have a substantial current going through the surface. This contributes to keeping the surface clean and free of the various toxins that are eliminated through the skin during the footbath.
However, it is an additional safety precaution to dip the Sea-Onic™ array into a 91% alcohol jar for several minutes after each bath. This will ensure that no biological toxins remain on the array before it is stored in prevision for the next bath.

17. Does the rust on the plates cause any harmful side effects?

We highly recommend cleaning the Sea-Onic™ array after each footbath. The arrays should be cleaned using the brush supplied with the array. Not doing so will decrease the effectiveness of the array over time.
However, rust is a very old component of seawater and it has lost all of biological activity, in other words it is biologically inert. Therefore, it will not harm the user if there is a small amount (only) of rust. This will not decrease the effectiveness of the Sea-Onic™ array.

18. How can I measure my body’s pH level?

Many people trust pH test paper products to provide a basic measurement of the body’s current pH level. The pH papers can measure either saliva or urine, such as with a pH Hydrion test paper.

19. Why is it important to drink Optimally Hydrating Water after a Sea-Onic™ footbath?

The action of the Sea-Onic™ footbath is to displace the old lymph either back into the footbath water, or up towards the immune system, for disposal through the kidneys.

The lymph that is pushed towards the immune system for disposal needs to be processed by the immune system. The immune system relies heavily on water that contains alkaline (negatively charged) minerals that supply oxygen to “burn” the unwanted components in the old lymph (which is acidic, positively charged) before they can be recycled by the kidneys.

So, it is extremely valuable to replenish the supply of optimally hydrating water soon after, or even during, the footbath. Optimally hydrating water, such as Volixer™ Water, contains a variety of alkaline ocean minerals and small water clusters. These are precisely the qualities that allow the immune system to function at its optimal level.

20. Are there additional actions to maintain the benefits of the detoxification process of the Sea-Onic™
footbath?

Once a user takes a Sea-Onic™ footbath at regular intervals, it becomes important to make sure that poor nutrition, and toxic environments, are not reintroducing toxins into the body as fast as they are being eliminated through the use of the footbath.

This means that users may want to decrease their consumption of acid- causing foods while increasing their consumption of alkali-causing foods. User may also want to consume more optimally hydrating water such as Volixer ™ Water, to stimulate their immune system into eliminating toxins as fast as they are encountered.

Another wise practice is to embark in a program of nutritional supplementation such as the Super Vitality Program. This will further help the body to detoxify and strengthen itself.

21.Why is it a good idea to include other alternative therapies, including exercise, along with your
Sea-Onic™ footbath detoxification regime?

Over time, the Sea-Onic™ footbaths will clarify the spinal fluid through which all the nerve impulses from the brain, onto the organs, must pass. This becomes an ideal opportunity to further facilitate the motion of these nerve impulses with the help of chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture, or other forms of alternative therapies. Such adjustments or therapies will help the organs to function optimally. In addition, when the consumption of optimally hydrating water is increased, these therapies become exponentially effective, thus the value of the Sea-Onic™ footbath program is correspondingly increased.

As we have seen, a Sea-Onic™ footbath begins the task of displacing the old lymph by replacing it with cleared, mineral richer lymph. One thing that will help the process is to have a lymph massage after a Sea-Onic™ footbath. One reason for this is that the lymph does not have a heart pump to make it circulate, so it relies on mechanical contractions of the muscle to move in the lymphatic system.

Another exercise that is valuable after a Sea-Onic™ footbath is to work on a mini-trampoline for a few minutes after the footbath session. This is a fast and effective way to enhance the lymph circulation.

22. Why is it a good idea to practice deep breathing while doing a Sea-Onic™ footbath?

One of the biggest components of body toxins is oxygen-robbing compounds. When doing a footbath, there is an opportunity to start practicing deep breathing while one is seated quietly. In turn, this will bring more oxygen into the body along with the small-cluster lymph that is generated by the Sea-Onic™ footbath. Therefore, the body will have an easier time of distributing this extra oxygen throughout the organs of the body.

It is well known that the cells of the organs get much of their oxygen from the blood that has gone through the lungs. But it is also true that organs bathe in the lymph and when this lymph is oxygen-richer, from deep breathing during the footbath, the organs will have an additional supply of oxygen that can contribute to keeping them more functional.

23. Why is the color change of the bath water considered unimportant with the Sea-Onic™ footbaths?

The Sea-Onic™ footbath has been designed to optimize the surface properties of the array for circulating the sea minerals contained in Sea-Onic™ footbath concentrate. Once optimized, the majority of the toxins are pushed through the lymph of the body for elimination through the kidneys.

At this point, the toxins released in the footbath water are no longer the most important action of the Sea-Onic™ footbath. Therefore, some users will see a color change, but most users will not. This of course does not affect the effectiveness of the footbath in any way. On the contrary, the careful design of the Sea-Onic™ concentrate and the Sea-Onic™ array, themselves, contribute to a greater effectiveness of the Sea-Onic™ footbath. The color chart provided above is only for information use, and though it certainly can be used as a general guide, it has not absolute scientific data to back it.

24. Can you use the BBS system within a bathtub for a full-body detox session? Jacuzzi/Spa?

The only BBS systems recommended for a full bathtub setting are the Renovati™ Cleanse II and Renovati™ Cleanse IV systems. As for use within Jacuzzis or spas, neither of these applications is suitable under any circumstances. Further, a spa unit probably contains chlorinated water.

25. What kind of water should be used in the footbath?

Water from a well is the best solution. However, tap water, bottled spring water, or filtered water will work fine. Please keep in mind that you don't want to use distilled, softened, or reverse-osmosis water sources since the mineral content has been removed from this type of water. This lack of mineral greatly reduces the power of the  Detox System.

26. Why does the water color change?

The color change in the water can be attributed to a multitude of variances including, but not limited to: the water source quality used in the footbath; the type of lotions or other personal care items used on one’s feet; the user’s sweat, etc.

27. Is it possible to see a color change without feet in the water?

The answer is Yes! Even with no feet in the water, as opposed to having feet in the water, users will notice an orange/brown color. This color can be witnessed in varying degrees depending on the water source. This is normal with the  Detox System because the system’s strength tends to cause more of a reaction when it comes into contact with the impurities from the water source.

28. What are the footbath colors? How do I know the system is working?

BBS does not promote the use of color chart analysis. There is no scientific evidence backing up any type of color chart analysis. BBS is currently partnering with reputable scientists that are conducting research in order to better determine what process is truly happening in regard to the color change. It is important to note that what is coming out of the body is microscopic and may not always be visible. Further, the true detoxification occurs in the 48-72 hours following a detox session.

29. Why does the footbath water turn black in color?

The surface properties of the array are optimized to keep the array functioning at peak efficiency during its service life. Research proved that this could be accomplished by allowing the array to emit a steady stream of very pure iron oxide-suspended particles into the water, while the current passes through. Such particles are quite biologically inert and can easily be washed off the feet at the end of the footbath session with the Zen Spritzer. However, they ensure that the surface of the plates doe not acquire any undue contamination that would decrease the effectiveness of the bath.
